This Chess Baron Product: This is the 1.75 inch square version of our medium priced chess board. It is very thick and has 'quality' written all over it. The white squares have a beautiful sheen about them, although they are, in fact, chidar (or boxwood) inserts. The board is quite heavy. It has a generous margin around the outside of the actual squares to compliment the overall board.
