This Chess Baron Product: This handsome set is made in reconstituted marble and has characters surrounding this famous 16th Century English queen. Lord Burghley is the King, obviously Elizabeth I is the Queen, the bishops are Matthew Parker, archbishop of Canterbury, the knights are Sir Walter Raleigh (cigar anyone?), the rooks depict the Tower of London and the pawns are spectacular as the ships of the English fleet. The designs are large, heavy and well detailed, a great chess gift.
