This Chess Baron Product: The name is derived from the shock of hair on the Knight. The style is well contrived - the Knight has very strong detail not just in the mane but in the bridle, eyes, mouth and entire head. The weight is 102g and the King stands 3.75 inch high. A beautiful box is suggested as an option as part of the luxury chess set as pictured. The pieces nestle in the silk very nicely. The pieces have a wider base than normal, the rook is shorter which gives a solid look to the piece, enhanced further by the turrets of the rook battlement angling slightly upwards. The pawns are well proportioned and are also slightly shorter than normal.
