This Chess Baron Product: New exquisite ChessBaron design! The dictionary defines joust as a combat between two mounted knights tilting against each other with blunted lances. No chess set of pieces displays quite the same game as this one! The pieces stand ready, straight and tall, with just enough flourish to make you take notice. The King has a "no nonsense" approach to the joust as he stands straight next to his queen....proudly showing her crown and allegiance. All the men are solid and determined. But none matches the knight in this wonderful ebony set of pieces. Notice the tilt of his head, straining at the reins, ears perked and ready to defend his kingdom. There is beauty here too....his pulled mane makes his neck more attractive. The "necklace" seems to taunt the enemy....I am beautiful but deadly! You can almost see the dazzle in his eyes! Quite a unique set of pieces with leather bottoms and beautifully designed lines. Shown on an ebony chess board, but would be equally at home on any 2" square. So, pour yourself some mead and announce....to the joust!
